The 28. José Carreras Gala to be held in Leipzig on 7 December 2022

The 27. José Carreras Gala will be held in Leipzig on 7 December 2022. Live broadcasting by MDR at 8:15 pm.

Mareile Höppner and Sven Lorig will moderate the Gala together with Josep Carreras.

Due to the corona pandemic, it's not possible yet to say whether and how many spectators can attend the Gala live at the studio.

 Josep Carreras will offer a concert at the Steel Arena in Košice , Slovakia, next 7 June 2023 . The legendary tenor will share the stage with soprano Michaela Várady and the Orchestra Opery ŠD Košice conducted by David Giménez . Tickets can be purchased online here:  https://predpredaj.zoznam.sk/ POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT According to the tickets' seller, due to organizational issues, this event has been postponed to February 16, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets remain valid .
