Josep Carreras will be opening the 20th edition of the Bartók Plus Opera Festival. The concert will be held at the Miskholc Ice Hall, Hungary, on 12 June 2020.

UPDATE 7 MAY 2020

The summer events of the Bartók Plusz Opera Festival 2020 will be missed due to the provisions made for protection against the coronavirus pandemic.
As a consequence, the concert Josep Carreras was expected to offer on 12 June 2020 won't take place on this date.
Negotiations with the artist and his agency are still ongoing. Further information will be communicated as soon as made available.

UPDATE 28 MAY 2020

As reported on the Opera Festival website, the city of Miskolc will not have the chance to host the 20th Opera Festival and José Carreras' concert, which was intended to be the most outstanding event of the jubilee edition, in 2020. 
However, negotiations are underway with the management to hold the concert at a possible later date. 

The Bartók Plus Opera Festival offers you several opportunities to redeem purchased tickets for the previously planned José Carreras' concert.

If you opt for returning your tickets, it is possible to redeem both tickets purchased online and at the ticket office of the National Theater of Miskolc on the interface www.jegy.hu/altalanosjegyvisszavatas between 2 June and 30 June 2020.

The legendary tenor will share the stage with soprano Michaela Várady and the Orchestra Opery ŠD Košice conducted by David Giménez .
