It's now officially confirmed that Josep Carreras will offer a concert in Tallin, Estonia , next June 28 , 2013 , as part of the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds . Josep Carreras will perform with the Chinese super talented pianist Lang Lang in Beijing , China , on December 31, 2012 , 8pm. langlang.com.cn It will be their first performance together, and it will take place at the National Stadium on occasion of the traditional   CCTV New Year's Eve festival . Carreras, who admires a lot chinese musicians, said that he's most  looking forward to this performance with Lang Lang . More info will be communicated as soon as available.

It's now confirmed that Josep Carreras will to perform twice in Argentina with Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramírez , together with soprano Verónica Cangemi . The first concert will take place just outside Buenos Aires , at Villa Martelli in the district of Vicente López , on November 16 , while the second one will be hold just outside Mendoza , Verónica Cangemi 's hometown, in the gardens of the   Julio Le Parc Cultural Centre in Guaymallén , on November 22 . It is a free concert, but tickets are limited anyway. UPDATE : it's now official that the concert that had to take place just outside Buenos Aires this Friday, November 16 has been cancelled as a bad storm has damaged the venue. The option of a stadium (Estadio Único de la Plata), firstly considerated, won't be contemplated any more. Anyway Josep Carreras will go to Argentina to perform in Mendoza, as originally scheduled . It is now confirmed that Josep Carreras will offer a benefit recital with his pianist Lorenzo Bavaj in Seattle , on Tuesday, September 18.  It will benefit the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation , and is meant to honor Dottie Thomas ( Dr. Donnall Thomas ' wife)'s 90th Birthday together with the 25th anniversary of his victory against leukaemia. According to what the MDR website has published, the José Carreras Gala 2012 will regularly take place on December 13 in Leipzig.  They say that the 18th will be the last edition with MDR . The Gala won't be produced in Leipzig any longer: the Foundation might be negotiating with other German TV Channels for the editions to come. Anyway, the future of the Gala is not clear at the moment : I will update this post as soon as reliable informations are available. The José Carreras Leukämie Stiftung website has firmly denied the Carreras quoting you can find in the MDR press release. Mr.Carreras has neither spoken with MDR, nor he has addressed to the German audience. In the future he will be active in the fight against leukemia as fully as before. Josep Carreras will be performing in Preston (Lancashire) in the UK, on September 7 , as the headline act for Preston Proms in the Park . Soprano Katherine Jenkins will join the stage. It will be staged in an amphitheatre in the city's Avenham Park , and will feature Manchester Camerata Orchestra . The US tour, based on 5 dates has been cancelled due to organizational problems.  I had been asked to announce the whole tour only when all the dates had been announced officially, but since only 4/5 were "official" I couldn't.  I'm sorry, I don't have more information about it.
