Josep Carreras to sing the opera El Juez in Vienna on 2 and 5 July 2016 for the 10 years of the Theater an der Wien

Josep Carreras willto portray again the title role of Christian Kolonovits' new work El Juez for the 10 years of the Theater an der Wien, Vienna, next year 2016, 2 and 5 July.



Both Kolonovits and Carreras have just taken part to a press conference at the Theater an der Wien, 11:30 am, to talk about this special project.

Josep Carreras will perform at the Festival de Carcassonne next July, 5, 2023 .   The concert will take place at the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps . The tenor will be accompanied by the Simfònica del Vallès Orchestra conducted by David Giménez . Tickets can be purchased here . UPDATE As reported by the Festival de Carcassonne's website,  www.festivaldecarcassonne.fr/ , the concert will be postponed to 2024. The new date hasn't been scheduled yet.
