Josep Carreras to receive the Golden Germany Award and to sing a duet with Jonas Kaufmann in Hamburg on 12 May

Josep Carreras will receive the Golden Germany Award because of his incredible services for the German Society. The ceremony will be held on board of the MS Germany in Hamburg on 12 May.

German tenor Jonas Kaufmann will be awarded to and is supposed to sing a duet with Josep Carreras.
The Gala Evening will be broadcast by SAT 1 Gold TV channel.

The tenor will be accompanied by the Simfònica del Vallès Orchestra conducted by David Giménez . Tickets can be purchased here .
