After the world premiere in Bilbao in late April and early May in Bilbao, Josep Carreras will perform the new opera "El Juez (Los niños perdidos)" by austrian composer Christian Kolonovits at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Austria, on 9, 12 and 15 August 2014, 7pm. According to his manager Michael Storrs' website , Josep Carreras will sing a recital at the National Concert Hall in Taipei , Taiwan , with his pianist Lorenzo Bavaj . More details will be included as soon as they are available.

After Belfast and Dublin, Josep Carreras will sing twice more in October: ◦ on 25th he will perform with soprano Katherine Jenkins at the du Arena (Yas Island) in Abu Dhabi, Arab Emirates . Josep Carreras will perform at the VW Halle in Braunschweig, Germany , on 17 December 2013: a Christmas concert with soprano Natalia Ushakova , cross-over singer Kamaliya , the Brauschweig State Orchestra and Choir conducted by David Giménez . As previously announced, Josep Carreras will premiere the  the new opera " El juez (Los niños perdidos) " at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao on 26, 29 April and 2 May 2014. Josep Carreras will be back to Tokyo with two event both scheduled at the prestigious Suntory Hall : 1) Concert with very special guest Kaori Muraji (guitar) and Ikuko Kawai (violin) on 1 December at 6pm . Josep Carreras  will perform at the  Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre  to open the  Ljubljana Summer Festival   on 23 May 2013 . POSTPONED TO 18 JULY 2013 due to bad weather: read more  here  and here . Tickets already purchased are still valid for the new date. If you can't attend it on 18 July your tickets will be refunded. Unfortunately, the concert has been cancelled to technical issues that can't be solved before the previously scheduled date. Tickets can be returned: please contact Eventim for the refund.

Josep Carreras is one of the many opera stars to join at the Grand Rossini Gala at the Salzburg Whintsun Festival 2014 , that will take place at the Großes Festspielehaus on 8 June 2014, 8pm . Josep Carreras  will perform at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast , Northern Ireland , on 17 October, 8pm. He will perform with his pianist  Lorenzo Bavaj,  the  Opera Petite Ensemble Quartet,  and soprano  Celine Byrne  as special guest. Josep Carreras will be back in Ireland to offer a recital at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin on 20 October, 8pm.. Josep Carreras will sing the opening concert of the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival in Barcelona , at the Pedralbes Royal Palace Gardens , on 20 June , 10pm. He will share the stage with italian soprano Gladys Rossi and David Giménez conducting the OG Orchestra , the Symphonic Orchestra of the Girona region, conducted by David Giménez . The concert includes classic songs of the Broadway repertoire and the cinema, with pieces of composers as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Jerome Kern, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, George Gershwin, Nino Rota and Henry Mancini, among others. Josep Carreras will receive the Golden Germany Award because of his incredible services for the German Society. The ceremony will be held on board of the MS Germany in Hamburg on 12 May . Josep Carreras  has been invited to take part to the Opening Grand Gala of the 100th anniversary of the Arena Festival . Together with him, tenors Andrea Bocelli and Plácido Domingo . Josep Carreras will sing a concert for the fight against leukaemia back at the Vienna State Opera on 15 September . It will be exactly 25 years later his legendary Vienna Comeback Recital that took place on 16 September, 1988.
